Hi, I’m Dr. Ya Zhang. I’m a gravitational-wave physicist, a psychology student, and the founder of STEM Women’s Mentor.

I spent the past decade in research and leadership positions in academia. I’ve seen and lived the systemic challenges and barriers women face, and I became deeply passionate about helping others navigate these environments.

My coaching combines the lived perspective of an academic with the structure of psychological science, creating support that is both uniquely relevant to STEM careers and grounded in approaches that actually work. I’d love for you to join these pilot programs and experience the difference.
